Options Trent Acres School is an independent day school located in rural Staffordshire. We offer placed to pupils aged 5-18 who have complex needs. A high number of our pupils have experienced disruption to previous education and some have not attended school for a considerable amount of time prior to joining the school.
Trent Acres School is designed to meet the specific needs of learners with complex needs including Autism spectrum conditions, mental health conditions and ADHD as well as impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment needs. Trent Acres School believes that the admissions criteria should not discriminate against pupils with SEND and has due regard for the practice advocated in the Code of Practice, in that all schools should admit pupils with already identified special educational needs. Please refer to our Admissions Policy and Procedures for more information.
Options Trent Acres School believes in the development of the ‘holistic child’. Pupils also have access to a full education to a range of community based opportunities to develop them spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, whilst also promoting respect and tolerance and preparing them for life in Modern Britain.
