Overview of Exam Results
The exam results received in the summer are below and showcase the outstanding work from all staff and pupils. Pupils achieved 94 GCSE grades which will be the highest OFG school in the country and could also represent the highest return ever for an OFG school. Pupils also worked hard to achieve qualifications in BTECs, City & Guilds, functional skills and entry levels.
The introduction of optional subjects and pathways in KS4 and KS5 has resulted in a much wider breadth of qualifications being achieved and in vocational subjects which are appealing to our pupils. With Brookfield also now open and established we should also see more qualifications next year including Hair & Beauty.

The exams team have identified areas for development in BTECs and particularly in functional skills where the pass rates were not as high. Meetings are planned for the Autumn term however staff believe the qualification is not a suitable or achievable for some of our pupils as the GCSE, particularly in English.
Throughout our residential and day schools across the UK, we’re able to effectively split our specialist education provision where needed.
This means we’re capable of providing dedicated learning environments tailored to the unique needs of children and young people with social and emotional issues, as well as offering specialist care and education for children on the autism spectrum, or to those who have associated learning difficulties.
Here we take a look at examples of typical case studies within our Education division. They highlight the positive differences we’re able to make in ensuring that all the children and young people we support are able to maximise their personal development and learning capabilities – all within a nurturing, understanding framework.
